DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to the Bluegrass Parkinson’s Allian
 ce 11th Annual Gathering for the Good: Living Life to the Fullest with Par
 kinson’s Disease. The event will be Tuesday\, November 7\, 2023 starting
  at 9 am at the Embassy Suites\, 1801 Newtown Pike\, Lexington\, KY 40511.
 \n\nFor those of you new to BPA\, The Gathering is our largest annual ev
 ent and fundraiser. It is a half-day symposium full of education on Parkin
 son’s disease\, but also fellowship\, fun and a lunch! As always\, the e
 vent is completely FREE to members and care partners. I hope you mark your
  calendars and make plans to attend!\nThis year’s Gathering Keynote S
 peaker is Dr. Jason Crowell from Norton Neuroscience Institute in Louisv
 ille. Dr. Crowell is a neurologist and movement disorders specialist. He
  received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medi
 cine\, completed a residency in neurology at the University of Virginia\, 
 and fellowship training in movement disorders at the University of Alabama
 -Birmingham.\nIn addition\, Dr. Crowell was a Grossman graduate fellow i
 n health care policy at Harvard Kennedy School\, where he received a maste
 r’s degree in public administration. Before starting at Norton\, Dr. Cr
 owell was a staff neurologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 
 Boston. Dr. Crowell’s research includes drug pricing for neurologic co
 nditions and deep brain stimulation.\n\n\n\n\nDr. Crowell spoke at our F
 ebruary 2023 Speaker Meeting and we knew instantly we wanted him to come b
 ack to speak again. We are very excited he agreed to be our 2023 Keynote S
 peaker!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
